Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services and digital products provided by Homebody, ABN 62303152037, owned and operated by Amber Webster—Registered Nurse, Counsellor, Postpartum Doula, and Neuroprotective Developmental Care Accredited Practitioner. By accessing this website, booking a service, purchasing or downloading any digital product (including journals and guides), or registering for a workshop, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Homebody provides non-emergency, non-diagnostic, and non-prescriptive support services for parents and families in the postpartum period and early parenting years. Services are offered in-home or online, and include:

  • Nursing care based on Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC), including education and support around infant sleep, breastfeeding or bottle feeding, responsive settling, and infant regulation.

  • Postpartum doula support, offering emotional care, newborn education, and practical help during the fourth trimester.

  • Therapeutic and psychoeducational support exploring identity shifts, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and family dynamics.

  • Attachment-focused care, supporting early bonding, co-regulation, and parent-infant connection.

  • Referrals, where clinically appropriate, to trusted general practitioners, mental health professionals, lactation consultants, and other allied health providers.

These services are designed to be supportive, educational, and relational. They do not involve diagnosis, prescriptions, or clinical medical treatment and are not suitable for emergency or acute care.

2. Eligibility and Informed Consent

By engaging with Homebody services or purchasing any product, you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 years or over (or have consent from a parent or legal guardian).

  • You understand the nature and scope of support provided and accept the limitations outlined in these Terms.

  • You consent to receiving non-medical support in your home or online, as outlined in your booking.

  • You are responsible for disclosing relevant health, mental health, or safety concerns prior to any session.

  • You acknowledge that Homebody services are not a replacement for medical or psychiatric care.

3. Bookings, Payment and Fees

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice.

  • In-home services are available in Sydney’s Inner West and selected surrounding suburbs. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside this area.

  • Bookings can be made through the Homebody website or by direct arrangement.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a session.

  • Cancellations within 24–48 hours of the appointment time may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session or failure to attend may be charged in full.

  • If Homebody must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or rescheduled session.

5. Health and Safety

  • Clients must notify Homebody of any illness, contagious condition, or exposure risk prior to an in-home visit.

  • In-home support may be rescheduled or converted to an online session to ensure health and safety for all clients.

  • Homebody reserves the right to decline or postpone service if there is a risk to practitioner or client wellbeing.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Personal and health-related information is collected and stored securely in compliance with Australian privacy legislation.

  • Your information will not be shared without your written consent, unless required by law (e.g. duty of care or mandatory reporting obligations).

  • You may request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting Amber Webster directly.

7. Limitations of Liability

  • Homebody provides education and support based on professional training and experience, but makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes.

  • All services and resources are intended for general guidance only and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or allied health advice.

  • Clients are responsible for their own choices and outcomes based on the information provided.

  • Homebody and its representatives shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of its services or digital products.

8. Digital Products and Downloads

Homebody offers digital resources, including self-guided journals, PDF guides, and written materials. By purchasing or accessing any digital product, you agree to the following:

  • Personal use only: Digital products are licensed for individual use and must not be copied, distributed, shared, or resold.

  • Copyright protection: All content remains the intellectual property of Homebody and Amber Webster.

  • No refunds: All digital product sales are final. Due to the nature of downloadable content, refunds or cancellations are not available once the product has been delivered or accessed.

9. Workshops and Group Offerings

Homebody may offer online or in-person workshops, courses, or small group support. Participation is voluntary and subject to the same scope and limitations outlined in these Terms. Participants must:

  • Respect the confidentiality of others within group settings.

  • Avoid recording or distributing workshop materials without prior consent.

  • Follow any guidelines outlined at the time of registration.

10. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Homebody—whether in-person, online, or digital—remains the intellectual property of Amber Webster and may not be reproduced, copied, altered, or distributed without prior written permission. This includes website content, educational materials, session tools, journal downloads, and workshop content.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

12. Disclaimer and Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Homebody website, downloading any digital products, booking a service, or registering for a workshop, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Your continued engagement with Homebody constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.
